Call for Talk Proposals

We'd love to have YOU present a talk at Rust Belt Rust 2019! Yes, YOU! What interests you the most about Rust?

Submit proposals from now until Monday, July 1, 2019 at 5pm ET for either workshops on day one or 30 minute talks on day two. Ticket, travel and hotel costs will be reimbursed for speakers.

We're grateful to our sponsors who help make Rust Belt Rust possible! See our current sponsors or download our prospectus to become one.

Instead of having a RustBridge workshop at the conference, this year we're encouraging folks around the Rust Belt to run RustBridge workshops in their own community sometime this summer.

People who run, volunteer at, or attend one of these Rust Belt RustBridges will get a discount code good for 50% off tickets to Rust Belt Rust. In addition, Integer 32 will reimburse the first 3 events to open registration up to $250 for space rental or food.

Our goal is to make the conference, workshops and all other related events accessible to people with disabilities or needing accommodations. However, we are aware that accessibility issues are diverse and we may not have everything covered in our plans. Please reach out! We will do our very best to confirm that we have what you need in place. Email us at

If you will need childcare, please email as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a licensed childcare provider at your hotel and will provide a stipend to cover the cost.

We have a Slack instance that you are welcome to join. Potential topics include things to do around Dayton before, during, and after the conference; your Rust projects; ideas for the unconference; or just arranging meals!
